Ways and Means Committee
Oversees the programs and partnerships that bring in revenue.
MISSION
Develop and oversee the fundraising programs and revenue-producing partnerships that fund the association's mission.
WHO SERVES
A chair and vice chair appointed by the president, plus one Army and one Air Guard member from each region or chapter. The president serves as an ex-officio member.
Core responsibilities
- Give the board a quarterly report on revenue from the programs and partnerships assigned to it
- Present a report at the annual conference

Ideas for an active committee
- Build an annual fundraising calendar with a goal for each event
- Run or support golf tournaments, cornhole tournaments, raffles and silent auctions
- Manage the association apparel store
- Oversee member benefit programs that generate revenue, like insurance programs
- Track the net revenue of every program, not just gross sales
- Recommend new revenue ideas, and retire programs that don't pay off
