Represents Army Guard members and works with senior Army enlisted leaders.
MISSION
Bring Army National Guard issues to the association, and connect the association with Army senior enlisted leadership.
WHO SERVES
An Army Guard chair and vice chair, plus one Army Guard member from each region.
Core responsibilities
- Report to the board on findings from the Command Sergeants Major advisory council meetings
- Report on tasks or recommendations where the association can help with policies affecting the Army National Guard
- Facilitate the Army National Guard breakout at the annual conference

- Meet regularly with the state Command Sergeant Major
- Gather Army-specific issues from units — pay, promotions, schools, equipment and family readiness
- Plan the Army breakout session at the conference, with speakers and updates
- Recommend Army members for awards and leadership roles
- Promote the association to Army NCOs and junior enlisted
